Ohohoho

Intelligent Rhen took some time to figure out the problem with MoonRise.
And in the end.
Intelligent Rhen decided to stop MoonRise for a while and shove the novel into the 'KIV' file. Which means 'keep in view' until a later time when Intelligent really becomes intelligent.
In other words, Intelligent Rhen is not really very intelligent!!
>< class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Rebecca will be editing now is another story!
Hooray!!
Hopefully it's good.
So far, the only novel I wrote and was super satisfied with is 'Forsaken Time' but...
That's a Science Fiction/Romance novel...
How the hell did I, a fifteen year old, managed to write a good Romance novel is beyond me.
Even though the romance part is only half of it. At the front.
The back part is more serious.
I'm actually torn between blogging part of Forsaken Time here like I've done with the other successful novel of mine; Lost Time.

Moi is obsessed with the word 'time' apparently.

Do you know I simply love the MEH

CLOCKS on my blog?

I mean, they're so so so so

SO SO CUTE!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Oho.
I think I'll just post the Preface and Prologue of the book I'm working on.
And please tell me what you think of it!!
Rhenny isn't too good right now.
Not enough inspiration...
Even though I got some inspiration in school...They're used UP!!
OH NO><

Title: Phoenix Lament

I thought I knew who I was.
I thought I lived a life that was mine.
But then, as suddenly as a flash of lightning, everything changed.
Everything I had believed in turned out to be a lie. I was lied to by my most loved people, by my most important contacts...

Preface

The hall was full of splendor; you would never have thought that this grand mansion with modern furnishing was the Vampire's home.
Every single step Klein took sent echoes back. It was amazing that the sound of his heartbeat was still unheard.
His lungs were tight and his head slightly disorientated as he continued following the servant.
All the paintings...statues...all of them felt alive. It was disconcerting.
His mouth was dry and the sound of the servant knocking gently against the oak doors was painfully loud. He fixed a look of cold calmness on his face as the two doors opened.
The Vampire was seated there, on the armchair on the raised platform at the back of the room with a look of complete ease on his face.
The anxiousness in Klein's heart melted away and was replaced by determination.
This was what he's been waiting for, after having fought so many of them, he's finally reached his destination. This Vampire was the destination of all slayers, right?
And Klein was facing him at last.
This Vampire was the terror of the night world and the ultimate enemy of all slayers. Klein's blood wasn't going cold. Instead, the rush of adrenaline made his senses hyper alert.
This was just another match. He was just another vicious old vampire that Klein has to kill. It doesn't matter how many millennia this Vampire has seen, nor does it matter how much more experienced and lethal he was than Klein.
Klein was the slayer.
He was the vampire.
This was just another dance between these two species.

Prologue

When you're walking down a street, doing window shopping or whatever... Have you ever felt scared? Like there was someone staring at you but when you turn around, you see nothing.
At night after you fool around with your friends at the pub and you're walking home, have you ever felt someone or something after you?
Have you ever glimpse a gentlemanly stranger leer at your neck when you turn around? Was there ever a pair of eyes on your back or the sound of footsteps following you whenever you're alone?
Not just at night. But in the day as well.
On Halloween, when you thought everyone was just playing, have you ever had the suspicion that that handsome guy standing at the corner didn't look like he was wearing fake fangs. Did those canine teeth looked too real?
When you watch a horror film in the cinema with your pals, did the scene there seem oddly familiar? How that main character was being chased into a dark corner...and how that thing bit into her neck, sinking his teeth in, the fresh blood overflowing...
Vampires.
Vampires are very real creatures. They're not afraid of sunlight, nor do they sleep in coffins and need to have a stake driven through its heart to kill it. Crucifixes have entirely no effect on them and they can drink holy water if they want to and still carry on their blood-sucking activities.
People they bite do turn into vampires, but only when they decide to release the venom.
It isn't a quick process, and it's painful. In this period of time the victims suffer all sorts of diseases that occur as their body began to change and their DNA altered by the vampire's special venom. After the transformation is complete, they will be welcomed into the dark world like a brother.
Vampires didn't make any pact with any devil, they didn't have a sad past that driven them to be what they are. They are a race.
Humans are their food source.
They were made, created, present, just to hunt humans. Humans aren't at the end of the food chain, nor are the cannibals.
No. It's the vampires.

If you're talking about a food chain, then vampires are at the end. But even with the vampires alarming strength and speed and the pure-blood vampires' gifts...they're still not the most dangerous.
Another race with equal physical attributes is there. While vampires are the hunter of humans, they are the hunter of the hunters.
This race that protects the humans in the shadows, they're called the slayers.
They follow similar diet habits as humans but they have the same body structure and power of a vampire.
They are descendents of the vampires who became good many thousands of years ago. They are the savior of mankind.
Even though they do not drink the blood of others to sustain their youth, they still possess long life. It was part of the gift that had passed on to them from their ancestors who were antediluvians.
Slayers live in our society just like the vampires and watch over the humans.
Only the leaders of the world and the government of the countries knew about the existence of these two races and the ancient blood feud between them. Like a feline and a rodent, vampires and slayers are two species that are mortal enemies who spend their life killing the other race.
The government does what they can to assist the slayers in their vampire hunting trips but even after so many thousand years, this war continues and it grows on, more and more intense.

Okay.
That's moi's latest work.
Still working on it though.

Haiz.
